Brown Bus Updates from August Q and A

Kathy Tamble, our school guidance counselor, is on charge of bus issues this year. She told me that we currently do not have a brown bus driver. There is apparently a bus driver shortage. Drivers of other routes are doubling up and helping out by picking up the children who would ride the brown bus. That is why there are such inconsitencies and problems. If you have questions you probably need to call the Transportation Dept. at Central Office.

She said all children are allowed breakfast when they arrive at school, even if the bus is late. The cafeteria staff may need to put up the hot items, but cereal and other items are offered.
