From our FSL...
Multiple ways to take part for individuals, businesses, non-profits, churches and more.
The Youth Safety Summit on April 30th is a chance for families, community leaders, and school officials to work together toward a common goal: keeping children and young people safe both in schools and the larger community. Our goal for the day is to develop recommended actions that will help our community reduce youth violence. We invite all who are interested to participate in this day of collaboration and problem-solving.
In addition to the productive discussions and group sessions at the Summit, there will also be a Community Resources Fair offering opportunities for students to stay engaged and structured throughout the summer.
The goal of the fair is to connect students and parents with organzations that offer:
Volunteer opportunities
Job opportunities
Educational programs
Recreation programs
Sports
Mentor programs
Group activities
and more
This is where we need your help. If your business, group or organization has opportunities like the ones listed above, we want you to participate in the fair. There will be a areas at the Summit set aside for booths and tables to display your programs. But if you are unable to attend in person, we invite you to submit your materials and information so that we may display your programs on your behalf.
For more information about the Community Resources Fair, please contact:
Joe Bass
