District Meeting

Meetings to discuss redistricting of the Board of Education

Based on data from the 2010 U.S. Census, the Metropolitan Planning Commission will hold special meetings to discuss the consideration of a redistricting plan for the Metro Council and the Metro Board of Education.

Census data for Tennessee was made available the week of March 14-18. The Planning Commission will host three informational sessions in the following two weeks (March 21-30), with the final meeting on March 31. The proposed new districts will be presented at this final meeting.
