Summer Ideas

SUMMER FAMILY RESOURCES FOR METRO FAMILIES There are many fun and educational activities throughout Metro Nashville for your family this summer. Below are resources for your family to enjoy, most of which are FREE! Nashville Public Library: Locations throughout Nashville. Check the library’s local event calendar for story times, puppet shows and other special events over the summer. Also don’t forget their “Summer Challenge” program that provides your child an opportunity to learn and win prizes. https://library.nashville.org Local Area Parks (i.e. Centennial, Bicentennial, Shelby, etc.). Most parks have fairs/festivals over the summer. www.nashville.gov/Parks-and-Recreation Kids Bowl Free: Sign up for free. Receive a free pass for every child registered to bowl two free games, everyday throughout the summer.
