Emily Graves is the SIT Lead (School Improvement Team Lead) and FES (Family Engagement Specialist) for A.Z. Kelley ES. If you need information regarding Title I, please contact her at emily.graves@mnps.org or 941-7535 ext. 2110. The Community Room (located near the office at the front of the building) is open Monday- Thursday, and addtional days throughout the week. Subject: College Access Event for DREAMers this Saturday at Glencliff High School

Dear all,

I am reaching out to make sure you all have heard about the College Access Event for DREAMers that is being held at Glencliff High School this Saturday morning November 3rd (9-12) by MNPS, Conexion Americas, YMCA, OASIS & TIRRC. I’ve attached a flyer that is English on one side and Spanish on the other. We know that the vast majority of our DREAMers are Latino so that’s the reasoning behind the language selection. Please share with families at your schools and spread the word to other counselors and support staff! We’ll have activities for middle school students, high school students and a parent session (in Spanish) all about the cost of college and how to budget for it. There will be childcare offered as well. I think this would be fabulous even for parents whose oldest child is only in middle school so that they can think about saving in the coming years. Let me or Molly Sehring at Glencliff know if you have any questions or if you’d like to volunteer/help out in any way!
(We still need volunteers so if you know any high school students/college students/helpful people, please have them contact Eric at eric.savaiano@mnps.org to sign up!)
